About Agency Wars

Agency Wars V will soon begin recruiting and training 28 wannabe contenders for 12 weeks to become licensed amateur boxers who go ‘toe to toe’ against their media & agency colleagues for a charity-boxing event like none other! It’s all for a pair of great causes — Ronald McDonald House Toronto and NABS.

AGENCY WARS I-IV

28 men and women from the advertising and media communities got the chance to participate in what is now one of the most talked about advertising industry events.  After an overwhelming response to the inaugural event in 2010 Agency Wars II was part of Advertising Week 2011. Both Agency Wars III & IV were sold out and doubled the money raised for our charities.

AGENCY WARS V

is going to be even more exciting starting with the recruitment night on Sept. 5th at Clancy’s Boxing Academy  followed by a two week fitness camp to see who really wants to be a contender and get in the ring for charity!  Please follow the Agency Wars Facebook page for all updates on recruitment.

These chosen media and agency fighters will train for 12 weeks with this country’s top conditioning coaches, boxing coaches, team captains and nutritionists to become amateur boxers and have the experience of a lifetime! Their journey is being documented on the Agency Wars facebook page while the Fight Network will film and cover the event for a 3-hour broadcast later aired on its cable channel, giving these agency men and women a true boxing experience like none other. This event is sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.

Logan Cotton McGuiness

Logan Cotton McGuiness

Blue Team Captain

In a little over five years, Logan Cotton Mcguinness, has soared from being a 20-year-old
unknown fighter from Orangeville, Ontario to fighting for, winning, and defending three
different weight classes in the NABA, and in the process establishing himself as one of
Canada’s brightest young boxing stars.
Logan is not your typical boxer. First, he has an exceptional skill set. Second, he is a
bright, articulate young man and in line with his Irish-Canadian roots – very humble and
self-effacing. If you did not know Logan, you could spend the first hour talking to him
without even realizing that he is ranked number nine (9) Superfeather weight fighter
in the world. From a career perspective, there have been no easy battles for the NABA
SuperFeatherweight Champion. Every time McGuinness has made a title defense, his
heart, determination, relentless pressure and superior physical conditioning have been the
keys to victory. The humble warrior wins the old fashion way – he EARNS it which is
why he is undefeated in his 21 fights. Logan was the blue team captain for Agency Wars
1,2 and 4.

The Trainers

Our Trainers will push the strength and conditioning of the fighters over the 12 weeks and this will be supported by a customised nutrition plan to get them to their FIGHT WEIGHT.
